Shillong Teer Timings & Prizes
Daily draw schedule for the main and morning sessions, and how the prize system works.
Draw Timings
| Session | Round | Timing (IST) |
|---|---|---|
| Main Teer | First Round (F/R) | ~3:30 PM |
| Main Teer | Second Round (S/R) | ~4:30 PM |
| Morning Teer | First Round (F/R) | ~10:30 AM |
| Morning Teer | Second Round (S/R) | ~11:30 AM |
The game usually runs Monday through Saturday. Sunday is typically a day off, and special holidays or event days can change the schedule — your local licensed counter is the best place to confirm whether the day's draws are happening.
How the Winning Number Is Decided
Each round is an archery session at the Shillong teer ground. Archers shoot a set number of arrows at a target, officials count the arrows that strike it, and the winning number is the last two digits of that count. For example, if 537 arrows hit the target, the winning number is 37. This is a general description of how the game works.
How Prizes Work
Prize amounts are set by the Teer associations and the licensed counters that sell tickets — they are not fixed nationwide, and they can change over time. Payout ratios commonly differ between the first and second rounds, and between full two-digit bets and single-digit house/ending bets.
Remember that Teer is a game of chance. Only ever wager an amount you are comfortable losing, and never borrow money to play.
